Is it any good ? Not a lot of info on the AM website for a Vantage and I wondered if anyone has one fitted. How loud is it and does it give you any extra horses. Just looking at all the options before enhancing my car.
Someone enhanced my car after we were talking on Sunday. They dented the rear wing.......b
ds!Just bolting on a rear silencer will give you little or no performance gains at all. Manifold replacement , de catting and retaining your standard silencer with its valves will give you the option of quiet , loud ,a healthy increase in power and torque. Call Bamford Rose for guaranteed results. Promise!

Wonder if BR can fix my dent?
Yes, that's the dent that I said I got which is obviously not worthy of any response
Deleting PH from my PC now
Tony, don't go!! WTF happened with the car. It's a brave man that dents your wing!Yes, that's the dent that I said I got which is obviously not worthy of any response

Deleting PH from my PC now

Car was dented by another so called enthusiast - wait till we meet

Still, it's only a car and I had the dent removed on Monday. Just the principle of someone damaging someone else's property and just drives off that pisses me off

At least it wasn't another rear diffuser.
Sorry Darren for going off topic - my advice would be sell the v8v and get a v12, simple cat delete job then.

A viable, proven and much more affordable option to BR or AM is Velocity AP...and they just added an X-Pipe to their line...sweet sounds!Edited by WildBob on Friday 28th March 20:13

Glad your car is fixed Tony, bloody dents. As regards a V12 I would love one but it would have to be a roadster and it would mean selling the wife and kids which might not work.

Actually Bob, the Velocity AP combo of cats & manifold for the V8V is a very similar price to the BR option. And as far as I can tell from their website, it doesn't include fitting or ECU remap etc etc.Edited by WildBob on Friday 28th March 20:13
So it probably comes out to be a bit more expensive in the end.

Don't know what the price is for a BR 'Pinnacle' system at the moment so can't tell you if it is more or less money, but it does include the ECU. What is the price of the BR Pinnacle system, including fitting? So it probably comes out to be a bit more expensive in the end.

I don't know, to be honest. I was comparing it to the price of the BR 'cost down' option. Do your prices include fitting, Stuart?Gassing Station | Aston Martin | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
