Rocky Mountain Radar 350.. legal ?

A couple of questions for those in the know:

They sell these as 100% legal complete with a ticket and purchase cost rebate, but does the fact that they have a passive jammer mean that you can get done for perverting the course of justice ?

Does anyone know if the jamming works succesfully ?

I would imagine this is illegal to use, there are only a few sections of the radio spectrum that do not require a license. This differs from Laser jammers, in that you don't need a license to shine a light, whatever the frequency.

Surely a jammer is purely emitting laser light?

I was told it's emissions only travel for about 10 feet. i.e. enough to cover headlights and numberplate.

From what I have seen of the evidence I'd have to agree. This isnt so much of a naming and shaming as warning of an ongoing scam
