Looking to buy a small cheap van

Would prefer it had a side door

Looking at Transit Connect sized vehicle

Berlingo HDI, decent little vans.

I ran a Combo 1.3CDTi a few years ago and that was a cracking little van, it was far more car like and refined than many of the alternatives and the engine was a nice unit. Or the old Berlingos are reasonable as already mentioned.

For 2k, get yourself the best Berlingo or Partner you can find. Transit connects will be dog rough at that money, trust me, Im a van salesman!

Seems to me the car versions are cheaper than the vans?

Had a caddy for 6 years never let me down , Renault/Citroen vans before didn't like them slow, need fixing every 2 mths of use therefore expensive to maintain.

My vote goes for the VW caddy TDi, if you can spend a little more this would be my bet.
