Hi. As title. Rear throttle pot reading 94.7% & not moving.
Front one as usual. When i disconnect the rear one it follows the readings of the front one as it should. Would it be fine to run with it disconnected for a while?
Also easiest way to replace- looks a bugger to get at.

Easy to change, the trick is doing it 'blind' When I did mine I put something underneath to catch the screws when I dropped them. Use a ratchet & bit and you should be fine.

Should not be a problem to drive it with the disconnected rear bank pot as the values are taken then from the other pot.
Before purchasing a new one i would measure the resistor with an ohm meter and rotate it with a screw driver.

Could someone explain then why two throttle pots were used if the values could be taken from one? As the bank of six bodies are all in line the values should always be the same. MBE must have done this for a reason. Was the ecu previously used on a V6 set up with separate banks of throttle bodies?
Just curious...
