We've got the NASCAR 2014 thread, so thought I'd start this for those of us who also like our US racing open wheeled. Season kicks off tomorrow with a street race in St Petersburg, Florida. Dario has retired, but still UK interest with Justin Wilson, Mike Conway and new boy Jack Hawksworth, who already seems to be going well. Plus there's the return of Montoya and the continuing "quick until the accident" enigma that is Takuma Sato. Looking like the strongest field in a good while, so should be an interesting season, assuming the seemingly ever present politics don't ruin it.

Thankfully it's available to BT Sport customers because they own ESPN UK or something.... I don't know.

Been intrigued about it for a few years now, be good to finally watch it. Seems like there are often exciting and close races.

Can Sato do it?

Reasonable race, some of these tracks are still a bit "micky mouse" shame they dont visit some of the better road courses in the states.

Good showing by the Brits, pity for conway he was looking strong.

Saw this video on twitter over the weekend, cars looks pretty epic from the on board (visor cam)

Was a strange incident for the first restart though.

Agree about the track. Very little space to make a pass, and that seemed to be the same problem last year.

Still, far more entertaining than the F1, sounds better too.

From a quick peek, I have to agree. The cars appear far more aggressive than F1 cars. (Especially power delivery) and the noise far more harsh.. Maybe ditch F1 cars and just run Indy Cars on F1 circuits??
