Evoque - Zanzibar?
Discussion
Life is too short to be conformist. If you like the colour, go for it....
Or put it another way, on your death bed will there be more chance of you having regrets for being too conservative in your life, the 'what if...' moment or a regret about the resale value of a car you had 50 years prior.

Personally, I like the non-conformist colours as there are far too many bland 'euro-boxes' in car parks these days!

I do to CL but I don't think I am brave enough to take the plunge. I did once with my TT I factory ordered Goodwood Green closest to BRG. Took a hit resale timeM
I was going to order my FL2 in Havanna , the dealer said that it could hit the trade in price by around £2000, on top of the extra it would have cost in the first place.
Man maths meant it was only about £1.00 per day, about the same as a newspaper
Unfortunately Land Rover stopped making them

It is inevitable that the colour will have more of an affect on the re sale value compared to Santorini black or Orkney Grey, I cannot imagine it being a significant amount though.
Zanzibar will be a head turner especially if you get the Dynamic trim and I have to agree robm3, if you want it and will get great enjoyment out of knowing there aren't many other Evoques on the road with the same colour as you then go for it.

Zanzibar looks brilliant, especially in Dynamic trim. Put a black roof and black wheels on it.
Yea looks like a Duracel battery
Best selling colour here and best for quick resale is Fuji white with black roof (same for Sport and FFRR right now). Then Santorini Black, then Firenze red then the rest. Loire blue is also strong. We would not ping a trade in on colour unless it was Colima or Mauritius but we may pay extra for white.

Our first was a pure in white and we got a strong trade in against a new dynamic which we went for in Barolo black ... In the sun it looks amazing ... Black with a pearl effect cherry type colour! Different enough but hopefully not a resale killer. I really wanted to go for Havana but when talking to a number of dealers the feedback was mixed. I don't buy cars for resale (our other car is a bright orange Elise!) but if you change cars relatively frequently it's probably worth considering the impact of colour choice on resale.
