Just out of curiosity of course. So after watching a few vids tonight and a mate suggesting buying one (in my dreams) have any come to the UK and are now for sale or do we think they are still being made to order?

Yup sounds about right. Watched some vids on them last nite.
Be interesting to see what happens to them value wise in the next couple of years.
To me it's a kind of an aircooled gt3 if you see what I mean.
It's faster than the 997 gt3 it stated in the Jay Leno vid

I agree Singers are amazing, if they did a 'budget' one then it'd be worth considering vs new 991C2S. Look at one of these if you are that way inclined, way cheaper and still has lots of lovely details:

Couple of the Indies are also looking to do similar things. RPMT working on amazing 964 backdate project for someone ATM, crazy crazy engine build, interior retrimmed by guys who do Superyachts etc etc. All to the chap's own spec. Lucky Muthafunker!

The thing that stands out for me about singer is the fit an finish. The interior is clearly a great place to be and you can see where that 4000 hours has gone. Maybe the exterior and engine (providing its as pokey as the singer) done by these guys and commission someone like Southbound to fit the interior. That's maybe a good compromise and along the way you specify bits you really want. For example you need retro clocks (Paul Stephens does these well) and leather buckets etc

I'd be intriguied to know what these guys charge for the orange car though.....

you dont need 200 large to be gt3 quick in an earlier car, 10-15% of that should get you pretty close:

mines a 1989 3.2 with a standard 993 3.6 engine remapped to 293bhp. Billy shocks and some bigger rear torsion's, rip some interior stuff and stick some 888's on, sorted!

According to their web site the engine is fully built by RS Tuning, the 3.8 they have in the orange car has engine dyno 340PS constantly from 6000-7400rpm (see the power curve on that site) it will be a beast and I would wager better than the Singer offering whose builders do not have the experience of racing/tuning Mezger engines like RS does.
I would think this car is going to be expensive, typically this sort of engine build would not get much change from £50K although you don't get the GT3 intake manifold with its $5000 cosmetic refinish like on the Singer.

From what I can remember it depends on you spec, but around half of what Singer charge.

Jevvy that's awesome m8 although that 2nd clip was somewhat distorted. One thing. As much as I buy into the aircooled 3.6 conversion with proper dampers that gt3 with a proper driver should be able to lose you on the straights with over 100hp extra. So maybe you carrying way more corner speed or it's pushing more than 293. Regardless it's an amazing car and the sound is to die for. I want it dude
