steak griddle pan

Please recommend a griddle pan , which will be used mainly
for steak.

I use a cast iron griddle pan. Cooks the steak perfectly and handy for all sorts of other stuff as well. You can pick one up from £20 although they obviously won't last forever!

Car boot sales or such ( charity shops) are a good source of these !

I got the following for Christmas from my brother, a really nice pan at a good price. Sadly, I've got a BBQ that I cook steak on come rain or shine so not used as much as it deserves!

I use mine on this which can achieve near thurmo-nuclear heat levels which produces an impressive amount of smoke from the fat on a 1 1/2" thick Sirloin.

Ikea's griddle pan is absolutely fine, mines lasted 5 years. Absolutely no difference to the end result when compared to my parent's Le Creuset.

The Le Creuset also has the advantage of giving you a decent arm workout when you use it as it weights a frikkin ton.

Plenty of outlet stores or buy online, should be able to get a bit of discount off RRP.
