Hi guys picked my 1st Porsche up the other week, absolutely loving it and can not stop driving the beast.

Spec as follows -
2010, Generation 2, sat nav, 19" Carrara alloys, sports exhuast, bi-xenon lights, cruise control, carbon bucket seats, rear wiper, multi function steering wheel.

Looking forward to a few track days and meets this year.

I love those alloys (Carrera Sport I believe). I have Carrera S on my Boxster and don't like the look of them at all.

I have red belts in my Boxster, but I think they're awful. I think I'm going to replace them with black ones.

I have a set of black seat belts removed from my 7.2 GT3 which should fit .. let me know if you are interested!

Really...why don't you like them is there any particular reason, I was planning to have mine re-done red.

It's a silver car with a black interior and the red just doesn't fit in my eyes. It looks like it's trying to shout about being a sportscar when it doesn't need to. It's probably just me. biggrin

Thanks Sean, I'll have a look at how easy they are to remove/refit and compatability and let you know.

Thanks guys for your nice comments, can anyone recommend a good track day for a novice?

Above everything else one with instruction available!

I'd suggest going to wherever's nearest to you and either booking an instructor directly (find one on www.ards.co.uk - I'm on there) or arranging it via the track day organiser.

Anyone who's had instruction will tell you how worthwhile it is - I've never heard of anyone new to track days saying it was waste of time (or money).

Totally agree - I would add that Brands Indy is a good starter track and Bedford is excellent in ensuring if you have an off it will be hard to bend your PAJ...
