I am thinking of buying a car and was wondering if anyone can share their ownership experiences with me.

Running costs?
Clutch Wear?
Tyre Wear?
Fuel Range/MPG?
Standard Exhaust ok? What are the options and ££?
Anything else?
The car is a 2013 model with 300kms (it's been used twice)

Running costs?
Not cheap, there is a 1500 miles service to replace most of the fluids circa 2k. Following services alternate between small and large (Small around £1500 + Large around £3500)
Clutch Wear?
Clutches wear very well, providing they aren't completely abused! They last much longer than its predecessor
Tyre Wear?
Again depends on your driving style, around 9-10k with reasonable treatment
Fuel Range/MPG?
MPG, low teens, maybe pushing 20ish on a run
Standard Exhaust ok? What are the options and ££?
Standard exhaust sounds phenomenal with the factory sports exhaust software (£1500) no experience with aftermarket but the standard is loud!
Anything else?
Not especially a 2013 car will have warranty until 2016 so a couple of years peace of mind

This is one car where the aftermarket exhaust works really well and saves huge amounts of weight.
As above. Costs are high but what would you expect ?

Sorry, I can't help regarding the ownership experience, but a black one came past us on the M25 at the weekend...

And my boys haven't stopped talking about it since!

A fabulous looking and sounding thing.

yes it's £200k plus but you can run a La Ferrari for hardly anything as you can a 458, F12 etc etc so I don't want to buy a troublesome car which is excessively expensive to run.

I also don't want to spend every 5 minutes in the fuel station. Not so much for the cost but for the annoyance of it.

It seems that it isn't so bad on the running costs all in all.

Let me go to work on the dealer!!!

With regards to the running costs - I think you'd be surprised as to how much progress has been made. Clutch was never a problem, unless you drove like a tw*t. The build quality is pretty good - as you'd expect - thank Audi. MPG? given that MY13 onwards have the cylinder deactivation - you can return mid to high 20's mpg - and you can see it flipping from one bank to the other to ensure even ware. But if you have the factory sports exhaust - you'll just want to leave it in Sport or Corsa mode. Tyres - depends on whether there is a lot of building work near where you live (tyres are sticky - so picks up all kinds of detritus) - or how many track days you do. And it's epic through Eau Rouge and on the Kammel straight! Now that really impacts MPG......

Buy one - you'll love it.

Cheers, I bought a car.

Have had the sports exhausted added.

Fuel seems to disappear pretty quickly but the car is the business.

Very please apart from a wee bump being referred to above but that it being fixed today along with a few other gremlins.
