C63 amg brakes

Looking for advice on the brake disks/bells on my C63 amg, The car is now 14 months old and the bells to the disks are rusting up pretty bad as shown, i have been back to mercedes uk for a warranty claim and been told that as they are still functioning there not interested in sorting or replacing !!
which i find unacceptable, this a AMG model which is the halo of the Merc group not to mention the £60k + price tag!! and the excessive rust problem to me is just unacceptable, perhaps my car was fitted with a bad batch of disks?? who knows, would appreciate your views and comments before i go back to complain to Merc uk

Looks a bit like the BMW discs I've fitted in the past where there's only a very thin bit of paint on the discs, some grey heat proof paint from Halfords does the trick but this probably isn't a route you're willing to go down on a new car.
I recently replaced the BMW discs with a Brembo equivalent on the front of my car, I paid a little more for the painted version of the discs. Brembo use a thicker dark grey almost metallic paint that seems to be holding up nicely so far.

Completely normal and not worth worrying about. Discs are consumables, made of steel, and are completely exposed to the elements, as well as extreme heat cycles. Any part of the disc not swept by the pad will go rusty.
That part of the disc does nothing, other than act as a slight heat sink and create a mating face for the hub and the wheel. If you don't want rust there, replace your discs every 3 months, but don't expect MBUK to cover the expense.
Edit: or remove them periodically and take a wire wheel to the rusty bit.

Seems to be a common problem. Just got new discs all round on my 06 330i. I had nonoriginals before which corroded around the hub etc like this and looked terrible, will be interesting to see if my new genuine BMW ones do it.
The remove, paint, refit approach is fine if you have the driveway/garage etc but is a pain otherwise for what are expensive parts originally. But like others have said it really is a cosmetic matter for the most part.
