Stack Dash and shift lights

Hi all, after some more help.
My recently aquired Duratec has a stack dash and 5 remotely mouted buttons. The Stack user guide only referes to 4 but the R500 manual shows 5 buttons/switches and shows the first one to be a shift light. Pressing the button seems to have no affect on the stack but it does seem do be connected to something.

Question is, does the Stack have an inbuilt shift light system or is it easy to wire in a sequential system such as the DRE one?

The button on the far LHS on a RHD car toggles the shift light function in the aces dash top unit .( or it did on mine )

If you haven't got ACES then it might be redundant .
