Dents...bodyshop or PDR?

I need a couple of panels on one of my cars resprayed, as the paint finish is not as good as it should be. The panels both have quite a few parking dings on them which I want to get done too...I vaguely recall reading on PH that it's better to get the dings taken out by a dent removal company before it goes into the bodyshop. However, the bodyshop said that I may as well get them to do it (presumably they just skim over the dents before painting).

Are there any experts on here that can advise which would be best (from either a quality or a price perspective)?

If PDR can fix them I would go this route. Avoids filler that will sink over time and a visible ripple will appear.
