Cost to install LSD and TDS on 5sp GTO 3

Can anyone give ball park figures on installing a LSD and TDS on a fairly stock GTO3? I know both of these jobs are large in themselves!

Any advice appreciated.

Wouldn't you be better off spending a bit more and getting a car that's sorted it will work out cheaper in the long run

Hi Ant , TDS cost £650+vat , Quaife diff £600+vat cost to remove engine and refitt £1000 approx oils and other bits £200 , couple of grand should cover most of the work involved to do both .

I think its about a grand to retro fit the TDS. However if you do it at the same time as installing the LSD, the engine will be out, saving the cost of cutting the chassis to get it in.

Labour is probably going to be the biggest cost in those two tasks.

Paul - yes, no doubt i would be better off but unfortunatly i like to tinker, and im exploring all avenues at the moment.

Just having my diff done now. Costs are broadly the same from all the specialists. All in you are looking at around £3500 when the vat is in. When the engine is out it's worth doing some other things like a new clutch too which is another £600ish
