kenwood 500 integrated amp

Can anyone shed some light on an old Kenwood 500 integrated amp that I have stumbled across?

Does it have any value, is it any use or should I get rid of it?

Unless its very rare vintage model in mint condition the Kenwood supreme 500 weighed the same as a house - if its that one its extremely rare and potentially very valuable

if its the KA-500 its worth peanuts - but still might be worth slinging it on the bay.

If its similar to the bottom one here - book your next holiday

Thanks for the reply,

It is the bottom half of the large bottom picture and it must weigh at least 25kg.

The real question is where is best to flog it, I haven't the faintest idea what it is worth, could be £100, could be £1000 and cant really find anything similar to use as a guide.

It does work except for the power light and while not in mint condition, it is decent and all the knobs and switches are complete.

This is about as far from my area of knowledge as possible so any guidance would be much appreciated

ebay will give you the widest audience. Its worth several hundred quid maybe even up to 500

the audio forums tend to have a minimum post count, but either way, sling it on the bay. Its only going to appeal to vintage collector type people.

Just do a search on the supreme 500 to get its details 100wpc, de-powered 600 etc looking at the open case it looks dual mono.
