EBC Ultimax brake pads ?

Looking for some pads for my 350Z, had a look on Ebay and Demon Tweeks have a full set of the EBC Ultimax for just under £40, I can spend more but do I need to ?

I had a set of these on my BMW and they were perfectly fine. Much lower dust than the Pagids which recently replaced them!

i had these on my mx5. hated them. grabby, very hard to modulate (ended up screeching to a halt from 15 mph whilst braking gently to let an old lady cross the street).

also melted and went down to the backing on a trackday from well over half thickness in the morning, rivets knackered my discs

i'd spend a bit more. i found Mintex M1144 to be excellent.

To be fair, they arent trackday pads, EBC do a load of other other ones, for an MX5 you want their Pink Stuff pad.

Used these on both the Galaxy and MX-5 and found them to be very dusty (compared to the Ford and Mazda OE fit), performance OK though

The blue stuff pads could be worth a look.

A relic from the max power days. Ferrodo, carbotech, project mu, brembo etc are much better.

Have look on cougar store. The black Diamond ones were good for me or go to Alex on the 350z forum
