Hi Paul
No I didn't, it was a little over the budget, wasn't sure about the colour, wasn't sure about the wheels. I like spiders. I am however out on a hunt this weekend so you never know, hopefully to view the Blue S6 first and or a trip into bespoke performance on the way back to look at the red one there.

Mortimers have another car in. A Speed 6 in blue. It is the same blue one that is also in a private add in Tyne & Wear at £14k

Yes I saw that, I wonder how it ended up in their garage from up there? And at 14k ?
Mortimers ( can't remember his name) also kept on telling me how much he hated the S6 engine and he'd never touch one with a barge pole !! Another interesting one,
Getting frustrated !!

Firstly think pics on ebay are from a previous sale

She is described as excellent condition and she defo isn't.

Front paintwork is badly pittered with Stone chips

Large rub scratch on drivers door

Rest of body would probably get away with a detailing job

Both front and rear windscreens need replacing.

wheels need refurbish and not original

Interior carpets missing in front foot wells due to water damage

Interior vinyl would scrub up and seats repairable

Wipers do not work, lights I think work, but may have steering wheel ribbon electrics issue

Last service by specialist was Top Cat in 2009..couple of local back street garage receipts for supposed service and MOT

Engine was filthy and showed signs of not being used.

Guy bought car in 2011 on a whim and done approx 150 miles since last Mot in 2012.

Chassis was rusty although from what I could see the main rails didn't look too bad,but riggers I would say need doing and couldnt really see underneath to engine bay area

Engine started and she did shift but didn't sound to good

The guy who owns it has 2 friends who have taken the car out for a spin a few times...and I mean spin!!

Not looked after at all and in my opinion, especially when sold to the seller, could be a risk.

To cap it off I managed to speak to a previous owner, who said she was a dog and money pit for him.

It regularly didn't start even after throwing money at replacement parts.

It leaked constantly into the foot wells no matter what he did,to the point he had to drill holes in the floors to allow water to get out..

After the car was making him ill with worry,He sold to a guy who kept it for a month and sold her on due to various issues.

Then I guess the young lad bought it,and there it has stood for the last 3 years or so.

Doesn't sound good does it!

She would be a good project, but knowing she is probably a Friday build car, you'd need to strip her right down

Cheers, does sound unloved then, not to mention a misleading listing. Might just save someone a trip.

Sounds like a perfect car to save then if you can get the price down a bit.

The paint work stuff is just decoration in my view, mine is cover in stone chips but I can't see them when I am driving it and that is what they are for after all.
