Panasonic TV, Panasonice Bluray all working perfectly one day and not the next.

Ordinarily I switch TV on and Bluray goes - Oh sound needed! and fires itself up - and the reverse, switch tv off and Blueray shuts down.
Now I've not changed anything, settings, firmware, not touched cables but now nothing, seems like they have had a major fall out. Viera link is enabled, and on TV is set to output to Home Cinema but there is just no sound.

Doing my head in - any ideas you good folk?

Check your Blu-Ray settings, my brother in-law had a very similar problem (Panasonic as well) and I found a menu setting for audio via HDMI had been turned off, of course he swore blind he'd not changed anything but somehow it had happened. In this case it was a Blu-Ray / amplifier thingy not just a disc spinner.

Thanks Alasdair, I'll check that out, have been through the settings a few times but happy to check again.

I'm also going to swear I've not touched any thing hehe

It's a BD85 so the all in one 'home cinema' I'm tempted just to take the TV and Blueray back to default settings again.
