As you can see from the pic, they are different lengths, I've been given these new ones but assume they won't fit,
My original ford anti roll bar bush says 22mm, can I twist the bar further round and down to get them to fit or do these fit 24mm bar and so incorrect for my car?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

This is my situation exactly at the moment!
I'm guessing that the roll bar will be in a slightly
different position when I've fitted the drop links
and that this shouldn't cause a problem (not at the
speed I drive at anyway!)

Just got to get the old ones off first though. The nuts
wont move though so I'm looking at a dremel, a nut breaker
or a grinding disc depending on what room I've got

In case you were wondering what drop link failure looks like, have a look at the black Peugeot atthe bottom of page 76

I've just re read the thread Pete followed to buy them, it seems they fit but are just abit shorter, so presumably you twist the bar down to compensate?
I'm hoping Phazed will be along to advise.
I don't need any help fking up a corner, I'm more than capable of that myself Rich, doh.

Not intentionally Rich, although looking at that Peugeot maybe best to retract my offer!! There seems to be quite a few threads on here about them so should be some feedback about as to whether they fit or not. Have you had any Alun?

Not yet Pete, Phazed has used them on a track car for ages but they might fit an earlier car better, I'm still waiting for powdercoaters until next wk so plenty of time to work it out. The Leven ones are spot on! Mine look like the originals to me, 56,000 miles and a trackday where I bent the feck out of the car! The joints are still holding ok.

That's good, at least you have a bit of time to sort it......by the way thanks for showing me how easy these cars come to pieces, an hour later, mine looked like this.......I was just going to change the rad but just couldn't stop myself........I will be round for that lesson on polishing!! Just about restrained myself from attacking the manifolds.....a step too far....

Pete that's fab mate, get stuck in, those manifolds, I'd take the engine weight and get mountings out the way, remove starter and bobs your uncle you can get at the 4 lower bolts from below. N/S is easy. It just takes ages but I allowed a few hours and it was off in no time. The mountings come off pretty easily, so it actually saved time.
I've had a chat and decided to leave the lacquer,
Tomorrow I should have my electics and brake pipes cleaned and re attached to chassis, manifolds, mounts and starter back in Place.
Its a heck of a lot of fun I know that much.

Must be an awful lot easier to remove the rad if you take the bonnet off and hang the car up on the wall. Hope you don't mind me asking, but what did you use to hoist it into position, and did you have to drain the oil first? confused

Just asking because Mat is just about to drop the oil out of mine to change sumps, my bonnet is off at the moment for repairs to the mountings (it was close to flying off completely eek ), and i am told i am working 10 miles from a place that makes alloy rads for TVRs. idea .

Two stoned birds? (Is that the correct phrase, or just wishful thinking?)

The rad comes out easy enough with the bonnet in place.

On my 4.6 I have a pair of Steve Heath QD bonnet hinges, makes the removal much easier if necessary.

Don't forget Aarron Radiators, a known tiv rad replacement company, about £280+VAT.

Thanks for the advice Phazed, so they should fit with a bit of elbow power!
Toolbox200 mate drop those pipes round mine a couple of days and bling.

Yes, just to clarify the tiv is not hanging off the wall, as Alun says its Apple....seems to turn images around when you download them to PH.

Yes the radiator came out fine with the bonnet on, just put some old blankets to protect paintwork. May use a spare pair of hands to get it back in, its heavy with the fans on.

Anybody getting a radiator from Aaron, make sure you ask for TVR Club discount....

I need to keep my car on the road and you need to get yours back on the road so don't distract yourself mate!! I going to leave the manifolds till the winter. Must stop taking it to bits....you are a bad influence!!

Phazed, glad to hear those parts do work, have got the alternative Sierra Estate drop links on the back which work fine.
