Carrera 991 Engine Sound
Discussion
I believe there has been a blog about this subject before. There was however no clear conclusion.
The Porsche Carrera 991's have a sound supposing system to help carry engine and exhaust noise into the cabin area. I know it exists. My question is; has anyone figured out how to disconnect and block the system? If so, please post some details on "how to". Thank you!

SOFAKING: Thank you for the link. It contained great visual aids on how to address the issue from the engine compartment.
jonamv8: The sound of the exhaust is excellent. The whiny sound from the sound symposer is annoying. I'm not trying to turn the car into a gran tourer, the opposite actually. I've installed the carbon fiber cold air intake from Fabspeed, H&R wheel spacers (7mm front, 15mm rear) and Techart sport springs. All of which I like.
Scott Parker: I think your method of dealing with the portal is excellent. I'm going to use your system to eliminate sound from the interior side.
