Gopro hero 3+ problems

Right I got a gopro hero 3+ silver for Xmas, it's a really good camera BUT I've downloaded the gopro studio so I can edit my footage but when I load it into the gopro studio it lags and judders, I've watched the footage on the tele and I've opened it in windows media player and it's fine!
I've downloaded a diffrent editing software but it won't play it for some reason can anyone help me please.

Is your computer man enough to do the editing?

My friend had similar and it was his laptop not being poweful enough, there are minimum requirements listed on the go pro site but he had to sell the camera in the end.

I would recommend moving the video files to your computers hard drive if you haven't already as it will runs faster and smoother from there.

Sometimes trying to do editing from the memory card or via the camera plugged into the USB can create a transfer bottleneck.

There already on the hard drive and the computer has the right spec.
