As it's the middle of the week I thought I'd start a little game to help those in need get through to Friday.

You have an empty space in your garage and your tax rebate has just turned up gifting you a very large sum of money (OK so this is an entirely fictional game). In your wisdom you decide the money should be spent on a car.

The only rules to this are that is has to be an Aston and it must be an actual car (no concepts or clay models, think driveable).

Points are awarded for originality and for general PH AM forum critical approval.

Edited to add: bonus points for images. This is a distraction topic after all!

Errrrr. Not quite as fictional as you think.
That's why there's now a V12v sat in my garage :-)

1939 Aston Martin Atom.

It is said that David Brown drove this car, and was very impressed.
He then went ahead with his purchase of the company.

What a wonderful piece of history.
Going to be sold at auction soon.
What was it you said about a tax rebate?

I'm sure they would for you Michael. If not just buy a Cygnet, you'd get called a gimp that way at least.

Michael was at my premises this morning in his lovely DB9 yes

His brother was here yesterday in his V8VRS yes

Common as muck yes

Btw, I've just received my tax rebate and it is sufficient to cover a Service, Insurance, MOT, Tracker, RFL and a set of 4 new tyres and pads on the old DB9.....shame I didn't keep it !! hehe
