That's great! Is it at f1.8?You using this on a crop-body? Looks like a good alternative for a 135mm f2 on ff body

Cheers FPC. That was shot at f2.2 on a 7d. I normally use flash with my biking photos but a combination of great sunshine and a wide lens meant I could capture a load of shots like this.
This raises a big question for me as it happens. I have an 85 f 1.2, and yet, the lenses I use all the time are a 24-70 and 70-200, both f2.8 zooms which I have had for a long time.
The lens weighs a ton but I keep meaning to use it.....does anyone have any experience with it, or tips?

I've used one (a mk1) briefly - imo they are a much more specialised lens in comparison to the 85 f1.8, less versatile but utterly astonishing at what they do best. The lens weighs a ton but I keep meaning to use it.....does anyone have any experience with it, or tips?
I'd just use it on the occasions when you want f1.2, it can give images an otherworldly feeling
