Guys, is the correct horn brush ("pencil" spring-loaded contact) for the Ms also the one used on many other cars, like the Triumph GT6 and TR6?

Fitted on VERY early M's and it is most likely using a Mota-lita steering wheel (as my Vixen S3).

With nothing better to do (winter won't end), I pulled my steering wheel (a Mountney, with appropriate boss) and here's the horn brush.

Now, I'm assuming a horn push with a different contact, like a 2" Lucas one, shown, the pencil-type of brush I mentioned earlier might still work?

Or am I wrong?
