Who drives in your house ?

As in, when you go out somewhere with the OH, how does the driving decision get made ?

A lot of relationships seem to show that it is still the bloke (in a standard Hetero arrangement) that seems to end up driving.

My missus sort of assumes I will but sometimes I cant be bothered, even taking drinking opportunities into consideration.

Well technically we both drive in the house

As one the parking spaces is where the dining room is going when we do the extension

both my wife and I can drive, I enjoy it, she does not. unless i am drunk or hungover, i will do the driving. leaves her to mess with the stereo, keep our son entertained and look out of the window.

I know my Dad always lets my Mum drive, he spends all day driving and generally hates it haha.

Whereas if I go anywhere I usually tend to drive.

I'm the only driver, my gf has epilepsy so can't have a licence.

Nice day take my car with the roof down and I drive, rest of the time we tend to take her car and I drive unless drinking etc. Means I have to put fuel in both usually...

Depends who's car we take. I always drive mine as Mrs Hooli doesn't like driving autos, if we're in her's it's normally her but occasionally me if she decides to drink.

I do the majority of the driving; I just prefer it that way, however when going out on an evening she usually drives back as she's not a massive drinker so can give or take it whereas I like a drink.

It depends where we're going/what the journey is etc.
I will drive to go to my parents, he will drive to his parents, or if it's sunny we will take my car, or if we need the boot we will take his! Varies really, though he will drive if I am stressed for whatever reason - usually for the best!

I drive at all times when its the two of us. She can drive and has to.

Its my fault Im a really bad passenger, Im not, it her excuss. The only time Ive been a passenger with her driving ,she was absolutly terrible, but that was my fault apparently, I made her nervous, (she has been driving for 15 plus years)so for the most part I drive to keep her happy/stay alive.

To point out shes not low mileage driver she'll happliy drive allover the country and continent, just not with me in the car. So my fault.

We both drive and have two cars but regardless of where we are going, or in what car we're going in, if we travel together, I drive. Apparently I am a very critical passenger....

I drive at work during the week, whereas my wife doesn't drive much during the week at all. Therefore when we go out together, she often drives. I'm quite happy to be driven.

Plus her car is nicer than my (company) car, so we often go in her car. If I drive her car I have to start messing about with the seats and mirrors. Too much like hard work.
