Today im sad to say i sold my 996 C4S. Hopefully its gone to a good home! Iam sad but as im 3000 miles away the missus didnt see the tear! Now i was going to have a break from sporty car ownership but then i started frequenting bloody other makers sections on Pistonheads, damn you!!!
So in its place is this heap!


4.7 Manual V8 Vantage. Again like the 996, bought 3000 miles away and not even sat in it yet!

Nice colour that one as well because most of them are either silver or grey lol!

Yep, its Fire Red and not many made in that colour. Its a 08 with 24000 miles so i couldn't refuse it really. Its also an ex Factory car, but not press hack! 12 months Aston Warranty etc, cant wait.

Doesn't seem like 5 mins since you were buying the C4S. Where are you at the moment then? You finished in Afghan didn't you? Are you still in the thick of it somewhere?

Im out of the Army and now working back in Afghanistan as a civilian, although heavily embedded with the mil so much so im the only civilian in the office and the only Brit!
It does seems that it was only yesterday but the job has given me a little more spends and while i can i have to be able to say in the future "Aston...oh i had one of them"!

You'll probably have the Volvo satnav which is a bit of dogs dinner but a very small price to pay for having those gorgeous lines sat on your drive, I am very envious right now as we have decided to keep the wifes Boxster for another year purely from a financial view
