The GP2 season is just about to start (SkyF1 only) but is shaping up to be a great year and I'm guessing will provide better and more entertaining racing than the F1 and they'll sound great as well.

And sometime PHer Adrian Quaife-Hobbs is one of 3 Brits on the grid

GP2 cars are quicker than the Caterham F1 cars !
And Nasr is only 1 second quicker in the Williams than he was in the GP2 session

Not sure id say they sound great, but...

Good for Stoffel Vandoorne though, it will be good to see a rookie do well.

great race 1 - why bother watching F1 when GP2 is so much more entertaining !!!

It has often been more exciting than F1 for as long as I've been watching at least. Sprint races usually aren't as good as feature races though. And it's weird how on some tracks, like Bahrain and Catalunya, GP2 is much better than F1. The Spain feature race last year was incredible.

Will watch race 1 online, as I am too poor for sky!

Fan of Nasr, watching (bits) of him in f3, and gp2. Looking forward to seeing him in F1 in the next couple of years if that's what he's after.

Another cracking race - you can see in it's all about tyre management. If you don't have the perfect setup, you'll overwork your tyres and be a sitting duck in the last 5 laps. Quaife-Hobbs defending like crazy - can't believe he managed to hang on and still score points.

Great racing throughout the field but yes - Feature race provides better racing but that's because the tyres can go off after 1 lap and at least you can change tyres in race 1 so you can push more.

It's a shame Pirelli have to make such terrible tyres because the Pirellis I race on are awesome !

Or watch it all and have your socks entertained off...

Both races were good but the Sprint race still has too much waiting for the last 5 laps before getting interesting. Whole sets of laps on that race were pretty tedious.

The tyres are better this year I think, rokies like Izawa were more aggressive with them having not spent last year trying to make them last all the time.

And the good drivers can get on top of them anyway. Robin Frijns last year, destroys tyres in his first GP2 weekend, wins next time out.
