Mike, someone mentioned on another thread that Street was at a particularly bad incident a short time ago and is taking a resdt for a while.

Some of the not so nice trafpol, (none of these lads on here I hasten to add)kicked me in the nuts once too often when I were a lad, so I got myself educated in the ways of the law.
I'm a qualified motor engineer and I advise on road traffic matters, which also includes the legal aspects.

I did 12 years on 'T' covering M4/M40/M25 and surrounding areas. Have been doing something completely differnet for the last 10 years and am about to change again. I have a keen interest in Roads policing issues and driver training .

Well I have to say Andy, I did a wee post on here a couple of weeks ago about getting pulled by the Trafpol in Dumbarton, the first time in ages, and one of them was an utterly delectable lady with a gorgeous beaming smile who, unfortunately did not insist on strip searching me!!
They were very pleasant and it was just a check about a sidelight that was out, although the guy was interested in my old Audi Coupe coz he was all over it like a rash.
But I have been involved in some cases where the police behaviour was totally unacceptable.
I've often wondered why more ladies aren't in the traffic police; any ideas lads?

Numbers really. Less ladies in the Police generally, less of those few ladies tend to be into "traffic"y type stuff.
