Warranty Extension

My GT3 7.1 Warranty expires soon, and Porsche say i can renew for another two years. this will be the last time they will allow me to take out the Warranty.
My local dealer has quoted me £2250.00 for Mot, 111 point warranty check and 2 years Warranty. The car has 16,500 miles on the clock.
Its a great piece of mind or do i take a chance. Obviosley if i sell the car with a warranty this will make it more desirable.
Any thoughts

I would say no. Save the money for maintanance. Not much that go wrong on a GT3 that a warranty will cover, most things is wear in my opinion.

I'd say yes, take the warranty for peace of mind.

Assuming funds are not an issue, warrant it whilst you can would be my response.

If you can easily afford, I'd say Yes; if you decide to sell it privately within the next 2 years, it will make it a lot easier to move on IMHO

Just renewed the warranty on my '08 GT2. I'll keep it within the extended warranty until the end, I've claimed more than it's cost me and even if I hadn't I'd say £1200 a year to have European roadside assistance and not worry about engine/gearbox failure is money well spent.

For a car worth so much money and an engine with a history of oil leaks I`m in the yes camp. A slight weep of oil from the crank case cost £9k to fix on mine so warranty well worth it in my book.

I'm in the definitely renew camp - worth it for peace of mind alone...
