In my short 26 years being on this planet i have been able to own a few nice cars

started with the v8 vantage then went to 458 Italia.

now i have the the new vanquish.

Slightly odd that those led's at the front do not come on.

Joy to drive so comfortable and relaxing and when you want to a bit raunchy with it it really does kick in .

A joy to own a aston again.

regards

Great looking car ,I like the colour, very smart and the interior I believe is sandstorm.
Very relieved the interior is not cream as I might have to go down the long johns route again and upset everybody. laugh
Out of interest did you see the Mako blue DBS when you were there and how was the garage to deal with ?

Wasnt to sure about the interior first time around. but has grown on me.

it gets really hot inside the car though. and there are a few knobs on the centre console that look pretty cheap,

its got a carbon fibre centre console. The garage were superb not one bad word. Actually didnt view the car (long story ) paid deposit and they delievered within the week.

i do prefer the other alloys though. if anyone wants to swap get in touch lol.

I am happy to help you out and swap alloys ,I have an 06 DB9V.
And you being such a nice guy I will not even ask for any extra money.
If that doesn't suit you I'll buy your wheels off you.
You bought a car for £150K without looking it over.........respect.

Very envious. Great colour and at only a year older than you it's nice that someone has basically taken my dream and turned it into a reality!!

Good on you, I hope you enjoy the car as much as I would!!

Cheers thanks for the kind words and wishes.

One thing i have to say coming from the 458 the aston does not seem as dramatic or as involving as a 458 , i know its hard to compare the two and silly to,

The aston is lovely crusier.

slighly worried about the v12 6 litre . petrol gauge all always seems to be on E

Excellent color combination! Another nice Vanquish with a non-black interior.

Tans work with almost any exterior color and are very traditional for Brit sports cars. Looks especially good with your blue.

That colour does not look marmite to me, it looks stunning. Congrats on rejoining the fold.

By 'other alloys' do you mean the standard ones, or the black/silver versions of the ones you have?

These are standard:

These I don't really like:

Initially I loved the standard wheels but now I think your wheels in that grey finish are perfect for the car...

I happen to be a marmite fan and also have a DB9 in that colour combination. As Mick Jagger sang, you are " a man of wealth and taste."

Congratulations, another really good Vanquish colour combination, much better than my all black example. I think you have the same wheels as my car, forged 20 spoke finished in liquid silver, they are a £3k upgrade over the standard wheels, which I think I prefer. I now have 700 miles on my car and I know what you mean about the fuel gage.
