Yeah, and there's the problem. Swap the badges and you'd still prefer the car that says Audi on it.

One of my neighbours has such a Thema.

There's also a Lancia voyager (no prize to guess what that is), a Lancia Flavia (rebadged Chrysler 200).
The rest of the Fiat group are at it too with things like the Fiat Freemont.

Personally I rather like the 300C/Thema and would have it without hesitation over an Audi. Not beautiful by any means - not ugly either- but different and has massive presence.

No I wouldn't.

It's not about the looks it's about build and material quality. They're horrid cars.
To be fair I've not looked at in detail, or driven, a new model but unless they've drastically improved the build and quality I doubt they're any different to the pre-12 models.

The new ones don't even have Mercedes engines in now. So owners can't protest that there's a glimmer of quality about it now!

To me they are simply to boost misguided egos of middle aged men who can't afford a proper executive car. If they'd owned one at any point they never buy a Chrylser 300C in the first place!
Don't get me started on ones with Bentley badges stuck on the front!

I've run a chauffeur business for seven years and in the past I've used guys with these cars. Big mistake.

I quite like the 300C as well, its just so different, the fact it isnt one of the usual germans doesnt bother me and neither do some slightly below par cabin materials, just a big comfy barge, more a modern Senator/Omega/Scorpio rather than an Audi or BMW.

Dont know why people are so fixated on interior materials, frustrated Lawrence Llewellyn Bowens
