Earth lead

I was tidying up the chassis and head shielding tonight and noticed this;


This is an earth from the front n/s chassis heading back into the tunnel along the n/s upper chassis rail. It looks trapped to me.

Can anyone tell me where it should go? ie entering the body, fusebox ect.

Mine goes from the battery, down through the wheelarch and the bolts to the chassis, definitely not trapped as you mention.

This is the other one that heads rearwards
(Gearbox, Bellhousing, Manifolds etc removed) normally you wouldn't see it.

This might be the one. Do you know if it shares the same grommet / entry as the reversing switch wire, as this is located the other side of the chassis you can see in the picture?
