So what are YOU up to ??
What car will you be driving and do you have any special plans ?

I shall be leading a group of like minded folk ( mainly P/Hers) to A.S Motorsport's open day. Free grub and coffee was the lead for me biggrin .

Your turn ... smile

I'm entered in the Strathendrick classic car tour with the Caterham.
This will include a run up the old Rest and be Thankfull which has just been resurfaced. Should be a good day out.

First event of 2014 for The Sunbeam Lotus Owners' Club is a tour around the Lake District starting from Kendal and taking in some fantastic roads around the Lakes up to Keswick then back to Kendal.

SLOC won an award in 2013 for their DID event, & this is going to be even better.

DID coincides with a local old-lorry run. The plan is to take the transporter out, and park it up while we (several of us) spectate, and have a general mooch around the entered vehicles while they're parked up at the half-way halt.

The Riley Motor Club has six drives arranged for members around the country on Drive It Day; I'll be taking my '63 One-Point-Five on the one in Derbyshire.

With the best luck possible, fitting a new engine.
Which as I'm quite proud of owning the last real race Vitesse in the UK, and it's also road legal, is a pity (or a PITA). Yes, should have started the rebuild earlier, but after not one, but two blocks proving useless, I'm back at square one, waiting on the machine shop.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a "weld it a bit more day!" driving either of my old cars is a bit far off at the mo.

Absolutely gutted as only 90% of my new super doper manifold and exhaust actually turned up..... I was going to fit it today. Arse. So I will enjoy watching everybody else driving around!

I was supposed to be away this weekend so I didn't sort anything out. However I'm now home so will give the car a bit of a thrashing around the lanes of North Somerset before going to the pub for lunch. biggrin

Ford Mustang gathering at Walton Bridge, Walton-On-Thames from 9am. Unfortunately, I'm on nights so will probably be asleep by then.
