It does change the landscape for any future war though - as each side's citizens avidly film secret troop movements and put them on the net - so the other side can see them... If the missiles really do start flying might we find someone switching the internet off to stop this?

It's quite common to move a lot of military freight by railway, certainly when I was out there a few years a go I passed a similar length train of M1Abrams and HUMVEEs. Guessing they just transport them across country to exercises.

Quite the train load!

Seems common for domestic moves though according to YouTube, there are a few videos on there of similarly sized trains as units move around and take their kit with them.

An awful lot of wheel-flats on that train. Somebody should be scheduling some wheel-grinding pronto!
