thanks - metric it was
is it me or is there a mix of bolts in use - is the engine imperial sizes ?
I've got a hewland gearbox which is metric on the outside and imperial on the inside !
Nothing hard & fast as parts from various sources, so not really TVR's fault....is it me or is there a mix of bolts in use - is the engine imperial sizes ?

Generally
Bodywork - chassis Metric
Suspension - chassis Imperial
Engine Imperial (except odd new fangled EFI bits like plenum bolts, water pump pulley M8 ...??)

I noticed a bolt had fallen out of the undertray plate that is half way down the chassis on my Griff.
What type of bolt is it, its not UNF, UNC or a metric ? Did TVR have some whitworth or sommat lying about the place they decided to use ?
thanks
