First drive after a long lay up

I have been travelling around Central America for 5 months now. My poor car has been waiting for me to return....
In 10 days I will be back and going for a good long drive as soon as I am back.

What are good things to check before use again.... It will be going for an MOT and service in 4 weeks though.

many cars are laid up over winter 5 months isnt to long just check brakes havent seized. oil. water . tyres charge battery drive fairly slowly for a few miles then have a general check around look at coolant hoses for leeks and you should be ok
