I have a friend popping over Sat lunchtime and we are popping out for a drive. I would like to hoon my car through a couple of auraly pleasing tunnels, anyone know of any in or near Surrey?

Just park under the railways bridge on the Woking one-way system and rev like crazy.

One quite pleasant one is on the road from East Grinstead to Turners Hill. Quite long, but nicely rounded for full echo effect.

Or under the terminal on the A23 at Gatwick (A favourite with the A23 Blatters)

Not necessarily for audiophiles, but a challenging bridge is the one in the middle of the Purbright Bends.

Come out of that (especially on a damp road) with a little too much right foot and there'll be some audio entertainment from the passenger seat, guaranteed!!!

Hmmmmm done that one quite often, just need someone to either videocam it for me or drive my car under it while I watch.
