Over night in car camera
Discussion
Not sure if this is the best section to post this in so please move if appropriate. Im looking for a camera to leave running in my car overnight. I have a budget of £50 so not much. Does anyone have any recommendations? I have no clue about this sort of thing so any help would be much appreciated. Cheers.
might be worth watching this before you buy anything... http://www.techmoan.com/blog/2013/6/23/q-which-car...

Im struggling to find find one with a good enough battery life to last all night. However there are quite a few within budget that have motion detection so that it will only start to record when it detects movement. Any one know if these are likely to last the night? Cheers.
They will store on motion...but the camera will be on 24/7 and processing the images looking for movement. I'd check out my previous link before you waste your money
Sorry to say this. If you're having to park outside someone elses house every time you park your car, I'm not surprised it's pissing somone off.
Arse around trying to catch them if you want. I think the chances are you'll end up with something grainy where you can't see the perpetrator's face or actually see them scratch the car and you can't prove that the scratch they inflict wasn't there in the first place. That's if the camera is even pointing in the direction of the panel they decide to key. All this at the cost of having your car keyed. Again.
Maybe just park somewhere else.

Really? I guess you don't/ haven't lived in London...you have no choice but to park where you find. Good job that mentality doesn't exist here or we'd be out every night keying cars.

d that has keyed my car twice in the last week. Or at least act as a deterrent. Ive seen a few cheapies on ebay for around twenty notes but I'm not expecting these to be much good.
