Ok bought it last year but neglected it a bit so decided to show it some love, its seems to be rust free which is a good start, spiggot bearing is shot by the sounds of it only £10 for the part but gearbox off job going to throw In a new clutch whilst I'm in there. Timing belt and water pump are being done to as not sure when it was last done. As its going on the ramp the gearbox and diff oil may as well be changed. Surprising how expensive a £10 part is.

One of the right hand callipers is sticking not sure which so going to need a rebuild this month to. Has big brakes so about double the cost. New tyres all round going on as well and stupid size so expensive to.

I was going to sell both my golf and this and get something newer but I can't find anything I want so may as well sell the golf and put some money into the mx5.

Looks great, generally I'm not a fan of silver cars but Mx-5s look just right in silver. I looked at a few Sports before I got my 10AE. All I can recommend is get the geo set up properly, check it very carefully for rust and of course enjoy driving it!
