I`m going to remove the 325lb springs from the front and fit on the rear then get rid of the 250lb springs from the rear .

So I`m after ether 375 or 400lb springs to fit on the front ,does anyone have a pair for sale in good condition?

If not where is the best place to buy them from for Nitrons .

Pro-Tech sell springs at a very fair price, not Eibachs but good enough, especially to test if that's what you want.

Are you sure the front springs are the same length as the rear?

The total coilover length of front/rear is certainly different.

That's good to know wink

I agree, 250 at the rear is not enough. I think my 325‘s are a little too light and would like to change to 350‘s over the winter.

So i have to buy a full set !

I`m wondering if that is part of the problem ,the rear 250lb springs are wound so far up they are close to touching

Maybe they should of fitted longer rear springs . The springs are wound half way up .Engineer1949 had the same problem

Daz,
I think that 325 is a bit soft for the back. The ride is very good but it feels like it needs a little bit more when giving it some welly.

Have a chat with Jools. He seems to know suspension as well as he knows about mapping!

Mine Nitrons are the same as are my Monos.

You have to look carefully at the spring weights to save confusion!

I put these on mine when I changed for stiffer springs from standard, no issues.

I have different shocks so can't comment on the spring length I'm afraid. I ended up with 350 rear and 450 front.

If I was changing my rear springs, I would look very closely at progressive rate springs.

Then you would also need to match the valving of the shock - most/all are linear like the springs?
