Upgrade to LED bulbs for rear.

A few weeks ago I read a useful message about someone who had upgraded their rear lamps to LED and kindly posted the details with before/after images. Despite the wonder of Google search and manually trawling through, I can't locate the message -
would anyone have a reference to it?
In an effort to provide some useful information - last weekend I fitted a set of Philips uprated headlamp bulbs, also fitted a matching pair of sidelamp bulbs in the same colour. Ignore the blue tint on the sidelamp bulbs - they do actually come out at white (3400k) and not a tacky blue. Best £20 spent on the car so far!
Headlamp bulbs are H4 12V:
