XBox one controller 'dying' with mid to full battery?

Hi all,

anyone else had this issue?

I can be playing with a battery that has 50%-90% charge left in it, and suddenly the controller will just stop working, accompanied (in Titan Fall, at least) with game freeze and a sort of loud drilling type noise, then all of a sudden the game comes to life again, press the 'home' button and the controller reconnects

This has happened to me about 3 times. I just put it down to teething problems and just another thing to add onto the list of things that needs sorting.

Indeed. This is also a fix that is coming in the April update. It started after the controller update. Happened twice last night during 2 race comps...little annoying.

Had it 4 times within the space of one TF match this morning!

Yup its a bh. Had it only once in Titanfall but everytime I get on Forza it happens...usually in a competition race too once I am in a good position too. Playing away, then suddenly all goes a little strange and then "Please insert controller" message...look down and controller is all happily powered up but no ones home.

Have you tried the XBox one controller upgrade? It is an option in the settings not sure if it would help but just noticed it last night?

It is the update that has caused the issue
