Cerbera photo request - quite specific...
Discussion
Hello chaps
I am looking for some high quality profile shots of the Cerbera to create some artwork from, however they need to be taken in a very specific way and I do not know anyone locally with one to do it myself so was hoping one of you gentlemen would be able to assist.
I need some photos of the front, rear and side of the car, but taken from quite a distance back (50m+) and using a fair amount of zoom. They need to be square on each side, in the middle of the car and at around half the height of the vehicle.
The idea is to get rid of as much perspective distortion as possible, here is an example of what I mean

This is too close to the car and has far too much perspective distortion to be of any use.

This is much better. Taken from about 50m back with a small 7x optical zoom on my compact camera, there is much less perspective and this is a much more useable photograph for me.
If you can get even more distance with a decent DSLR and a telephoto lens, that would be amazing.
If you're interested in why I need such photographs, I would like to add the Cerbera to my list of laser etched metal blueprints:

Thanks Jack, they're good references but I think they are probably a bit too close for me to get all the side profile detail of the front/rear end features aligned perfectly. It's things like getting the headlights shown properly in the side profile, where blueprints are drawn without perspective (no vanishing point) the best photographs for me to use produce a similar kind of effect.
Ideally I need some be taken from a lot further back, to get as much of the front and rear end profile in as possible.
Here's my Honda again, from close up.

And this is from what I'd estimate to be about 50m away and using the full zoom I had available on my little compact

Taken from a distance, I've now got the headlights, foglights, front grille profile and rear bootlid profile all in the same shot.

Are these any good?

Thanks Mark and Dave. They're useable but still a bit too close.
Here's an image I knocked up last night to help visualise what I need, showing how the distance from the car affects how much detail is captured of the side features.

That came out a bit small, here's the original: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v314/Quicksilver...
I think the shots you guys have posted fall somewhere around the middle of those three, so they're certainly workable but I am still missing a lot of the side profile from the rear shot, and the front and rear profile from the side shot.
I think what would actually be more useful, is some shots like the enlarged one to the right, as taking a shot square down each side (actually only one side required from the front/rear as I can mirror it) the distance then becomes much less of an issue.
Thanks for all your help so far guys I do really appreciate it! I'm sure you'll like the finished product!

I'm taking the car into work tomorrow. I'll through the camera in and shoot some for you.
I got busy yesterday so it was a good excuse to take the car in again. I've shots taken front and side from some distance. I'll sort them at home tonight as they are currently raw.Gassing Station | Cerbera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

I think in the hand book it says something like Night Star Mist or something like that, in the DVLA log book it says grey.....
