Just had the Griff MOT'ed for another year, all good :-) but the MOT guy did point out that my "auxilary fuel pump live feed had fallen off". The car was still running fine but I had noticed that I hadn't heard the usual priming noise on the way to the MOT. It is all re-connected now and the priming noise is back but .....why are there two fuel pumps?

Good luck to all of those with MOT's still to come.

Well.......maybe there is only one, but how on earth was it still running? He said it was up on the ramps ticking over with it apparently disconnected??? weird!!!

Must have only been disconnected momentarily. Defo only one pump.

Unless the wire for the condenser across the pump was off; would still work ok.
