Sorry, but: 2004 Sorento or 2000 Discovery

So the trusty old V70 is getting a bit long in the tooth and has bottomed out during a couple of our previous camping trips. Replacement is difficult because of the comfortable way it just gets on with it and swallows everything.
I've been looking at the two candidates (similar price range) from the title but can't separate them myself..... so thoughts?

can't imagine you care about reliability then. Discos are hit and miss.

I reckon if you get a good one it'll last for years without needing any major problems sorted

If you get an absolute stinker then prepare to have your wallet raped.

Sorentos from 04 are probably before the big quality upgrade but you'll probably get a lower mileage compared with a Disco
