Just had my first drive in a TVR having relieved my good friend Roadsweeper of his Chimaera!!!

Wow, what a feeling!!

Nothing more to add, think that says it all.

And may I be the first to congratulate you!

Oh, and I started my bitter thread six minutes before your celebratory one.

Edited to say: Jesus we've got good taste, those photos really show her at her best.

Congratulations, great colour, it looks lovely.

I'm sure you won't be able to resist driving it this weekend so take it easy in this weather.

Ooh, yeah. Imperial blue and magnolia. Best colour combo ever.

Well I've just got back from the petrol station - the second full tank of Optimax as many days!

Apart from a bit of water on the road this morning which soon dried up, I've had completely dry roads and had the top off quite a bit. It feels like I've had it forever when in fact it's less than 48 hours since my first drive!

Got loads of plans for it now, hoping to take it to Le Mans, Goodwood, and arrange some long scenic drives. Also got some driver training on my list, and think I'm going to go for IAM.
