So adobe have just released this, and it looks good.

But having problems syncing with lightroom on my mac.

Keeps saying no collections avaialbe, Enable sync in lightroom desktop to get started.

I have sync some folders, and ensured in preferences my adobe id is signed in. I have a subscription so this should all just work!

Anyone else had this problem or tired it yet?

So for this to work do you need to be subscribed to their creative cloud?

Yeap would appear so.

To be honest major limitations is my filters aren't synced on there. Just the pre loaded lightroom ones, maybe a way of getting them on, but that is a bit limiting.

Guess ability to have it on iPad, and fact in a sense its free is useful.

Indeed. Shame custom filters don't sync. There must surely be a way of doing that if they already have the standard ones. I don't make a massive use of custom filters, but they do work for some photos. Having said that I have some really nice Velvia presets that often boost colours by just the right amounts (or close enough) which saves fiddling with the sliders so much.

I've found things like Snapspeed to be pretty good for playing around with the odd photo. I particularly like the blurring, out of focus and tilt-shift type effects. Its interesting to apply to a few photos just to see whats what.

I've downloaded the app and LR and got it working on my mini retina. Have to say its a very good effort. Shame it doesn't sync smart collections like last 30 days or whatever but can get round that. Also looks like it wont sync different pics to different iPads. Anyway, I like it and CC is delivering. Ta Adobe and Apple!

Seems like a good idea but I begrudge having to pay a subscription, thats part of the reason I am going to be using elements and not photoshop cc

I like it, useful to be able to sync up with lightroom on my mac.

If the my other filters where there we have a winner, but as a first attempt and 24 hours use, its good stat.

I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but it seems to be aimed at the processing side of Lightroom, rather than the image management side. I'm not that convinced by editing on such a small screen without an accurate input method.

Will it work with photo's you've taken on your iWhatever?

I've been waiting for a decent image editor for my phone (Xperia Z1) for awhile now - mostly for Facebook etc, but also used in concert with a wifi enabled S120 and it sounds like this could be pretty useful on that front. When they get around to releasing it on Android anyway.
