Refurb started, MX5 mirrors, fuel cap delete and respray.

Hello all.
Well, I've been a bit absent from here due to having my black S laid up for 18 months with some work needed on her.
I'm doing a few mechanical jobs like changing a noisy clutch release bearing, refurbing the rear suspension, taking the fuel tank out for a repaint and so on.
I've lined my car up for a full respray to deal with paint bubbling on the rear end and a star crack on the bonnet. I've now fitted MX5 mk1 mirrors and will be doing the "phillpot" mod to re locate the fuel filler inside the boot. After this, I'm getting the interior re carpeted.
At the moment, the car is a "normal" black with a black hood, but I've been toying with going to a slight metallic black and having a new hood and targa panels done in a sort of deep red/maroon colour.
So, my big question is, does anyone have any pics of S series cars with a maroon hood as I just want to see what it might look like against the black. The interior is a tan/cream, so I'm not sure how it would hold together colour wise.
I'm aiming for back on the road by the end of May....wish me luck!!!
Cheers
