Seems popular at the moment, but my Rad needs a repair.

I've read the bible and started removing the rad.
But I cant remove the Air Con rad - no referance in bible.
I can see two bolts holding it in place at the bottom (have removed the top ones) but cant get to them - no access from engine bay; hidden by screen washer from grill.

So do I take radiator out with air con unit (disconnect air con pipes! ) or is there another way?

thanks

Might not be as the air con has to be degassed and removed for head work for example.

The only thing I can suggest is to remove the front grill so you can see what is going on and you might have to raise the rad a little to get access to the bolts.

i have to bow to steves experiance although im shocked ive been a mechanic for 15 years and worked on most makes of cars ive never had to degas an a/c system yet you can always pull the compressor to one side i guess tvr just used someone elses pipes rather than designing there own so look very carefully but get the aircon degassed by a professional dont just undo the pipes
good luck
