Light twin, any idea what it was?

Light twin, what sounded like Rotax engines, (or maybe diesel) low wing with winglets, mid tail but much shorter wingspan than a Twinstar. (We get lot's of them over, training out of Kidlington I believe).

Modern looking type, maybe composite.... Any ideas?

I was going to put a DA42 too, but looked up to see what a Twinstar was! Another name for a Diamond DA42.

Apart from some wierd stuff from Eastern Europe that isn't in production yet, then I can't really think what else it would be other than a Twinstar.

It won't be a Tecnam P2006 if it's a low wing and there's nothing else out there that meets the bill really.

Probably just a Twinstar with the Theilert engine, whereas you are more used to the Lycoming version. (Or vice versa.)

Were you looking at it from a different angle to usual? You might not have got the best view hence the wingspan difference.
